A songbird darted past his field of vision.

A quick drag on the cigar,
And the loveliest puff,

Mojito in the other hand,
He ran a finger down her sides,
Human curves of ivory and honey,
One lone digit of lead and dust.
He traced a finger down her side.

He chose to sit outside,

Birds sang.
He closed his eyes as he drank.
Birds sang.

I fall down to my knees

This makes me think of some ideas I had for a 6 Breath of Fire video game storyline. The dark dragon would live in the Ryu's shadow growing stronger and becoming it own being the more he uses his dragon powers and engages in violence. The Nina character magic would be reveal to be powered by her being a filter for pollution and no longer being in the polluted underworld misses her magic as it fades more and more away in the clean non-polluted world. Eventually the Ryu and Nina character end up on opposite sides. The Nina character must engage in extrinsic destruction to gain power while the Ryu character most engage in intrinsic destruction to gain power. Will one destroy the other or will the two sides join together in balance like the Ryus and Ninas of old.
